On the 9th of July, an 'open workshop' of the LIFE 'N GrabHY! project took place at E- trucks in Lommel, incl. a guided tour through the production-line.
At the event the LIFE 'N GrabHY! project team showcased the hydrogen refuse collection vehicles, that are being build at the moment.
The future "clean fuel strategy" of the Netherlands government was highlighted by Rijkswaterstaat.
During this half-day workshop the almost 20 attendees (from al over the BeNeLux) got also some information on the LIFE Programmes, its 25th anniversary and possibilities to receive funding for projects. The workshop was organised in the context of that anniversary in which all Life projects demonstrate their results to a broader public.
Attendees appreciated the interaction with the builders and were enthousiastic about seeing the vehicles in 'reallife'.
